Rebuilding Together - Refer Client


Rebuilding Together can provide repairs free of charge to elderly and disabled homeowners. Low-income, elderly (over the age of 55) or disabled homeowners in Albany, Berkeley or Emeryville who are not able to complete the work themselves are eligible, as are non-profit facilities serving low-income clients. Various neighborhood groups, service providers, civic organizations, senior centers, churches, and synagogues refer homeowners to us. Individual homeowners may also request applications. After a preliminary application has been submitted, a home visit is made to interview the homeowner and evaluate the required work. Then, a volunteer committee of neighborhood leaders and skilled trades people review the applications and reports to select the most appropriate homes.
